Arrival & Parking

Airport Berlin Tegel (TXL)

Please take the X9 bus line from Tegel Airport to the bus stop “Jungfernheide”. Then transfer to the S42 S-Bahn. Exit the train at the stop “Sonnenallee”. Cross the bridge at the corner and then turn left into Ziegrastraße.

Airport Berlin Schönefeld (SXF)

Please take the 171 bus to the stop “Sonnenallee”. From there, go to the corner and then turn right into Sonnenallee. Follow Sonnenallee until the next corner. Then turn left into Ziegrastraße.

Berlin Central Train Station

Please take the M41 bus line until you reach the stop “Ziegrastraße”. The Estrel Hotel is located right next to the bus stop.

Südkreuz Station

Please take the S42 S-Bahn until you reach the stop “Sonnenallee”. From there, cross the bridge at the corner and then turn left into Ziegrastraße.

Ostbahnhof Station

Take the S5, S75 or S9 S-Bahn until you reach the stop “Ostkreuz”. Then transfer to the S41 S-Bahn until you reach the stop “Sonnenallee”. From there, cross the bridge at the corner and then turn left into Ziegrastraße.

From the West/South

When approaching Berlin from the A2 or A9 motorways, change onto the A10 ”Berliner Ring”, then onto the A115 and afterwards onto the A100 in the direction of “Wilmersdorf/Kurfürstendamm/Flughafen Schönefeld”. Take exit 26 “Grenzallee” and turn right at the traffic light. Stay on Grenzallee for two more traffic lights, turn left at the second one into the street “Sonnenallee”. Proceed for another half a kilometer where you will find the Estrel Berlin located on the right-hand side of the road.

From the North

Take the A24 “Dreieck Havelland” interchange onto A10 “Berliner Ring” toward Berlin, then change onto the A111 motorway in the direction of “Flughafen Tegel/Berlin-Zentrum/Berlin-Reinickendorf”. Shortly afterwards, take the A100 motorway and take exit 26, “Grenzallee”. Turn right at the traffic light. Stay on Grenzallee for two more traffic lights, turn left at the second one into the street “Sonnenallee”. Proceed for another half a kilometer where you will find the Estrel Berlin located on the right-hand side of the road.

From the East

When approaching Berlin from the A13 or A12/A10 motorways, take the “Schönefelder Kreuz” interchange onto the A113 toward Berlin-Zentrum. Then take exit 26, “Grenzallee”, and follow the construction detour signs that will take you via “Bergiusstraße”, “Haberstraße” and “Neuköllnische Allee” back onto Grenzallee. At the next traffic light intersection, turn left into “Sonnenallee”. After approximately 500 meters, the Estrel is on the right-hand side of the road.

The inner city of Berlin is considered an environmental zone and vehicles are only permitted with a green sticker. The Estrel is outside this area, so no badge is required.

The hotel has its own underground parking garage with 450 parking lots. In the event of ticket loss, an additional €18 will be charged. There are two further parking facilities in the immediate vicinity of the Estrel Berlin.

Public Transport Tickets

A ticket for public transport (Tue – Sat) is included in the registration fee and can already be used on the day of arrival.

To reach the Estrel using Berlin’s public transport, you will need a single journey ticket for the AB zone for €2,80 (Exception: Please note that when travelling from the Berlin-Schönefeld Airport SXF, you will need an ABC zone ticket for €3,40). You can purchase tickets at the BVG service counters, the BVG ticket vending machines located at the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations or on busses directly from the driver (please have change ready for bus drivers).
