Prof. Dr. Harald Darius serves as a Director of the Department of Cardiology, Angiology, Nephrology & Conservative Intensive Care Medicine at Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln in Berlin, Germany. His research and publications focus on coronary artery disease, antithrombotic treatment and assessment of cardiovascular risk. He is member of numerous scientific national and international societies and serves a sa Fellow to the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
In addition to numerous book chapters and review articles, he has published more than 300 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been invited to speak as a keynote lecturer by numerous national and international scientific societies. Besides his activities in experimental research he has participated in numerous multicentre trials in the areas of acute coronary syndrome and antithrombotic therapy.
